Sorry. I know this type of message is very annoying but I'm fearing
something is wrong with my newsfeed - I'm not getting any new messages
in any group. Not that any are high volume.

Let's see if this shows up in my newsreader.

It's OK I got it!

It just seemed odd that there was not a single post in any of the 7
newsgroups I subscribe to for the past 4 days.

Try the rec.food.cooking cesspool. There have been plenty of posts there.
