This w/end I'll be making a (kind of) casserole - chicken drumsticks,
chicken stock, hard veg, plus a jar of curry sauce. Cooked low and slow in
an iron pot, 4 hours at 100C fan.
I'm not very good at making curry from scratch and prefer to buy say,
Sharwoods, Pataks or Morrisons Jalfrezi or Madras. These curry dishes always
seem to taste smoother on day 2 or 3, so I'm going to save some back for a
chicken Bunny Chow.
I guess it predates McDonalds by about 1000 years :-

I like the idea of reserving the bread crumb to soak up the liquids. Apart
from lamb or chicken, are there other meats that I can try this Winter? TIA.
