"Although the United States has the most affordable and good quality
food, high levels of obesity and diabetes pushed the nation into 21st
place in the ranking".
the modern contradiction, make food plentiful and cheap and you may
not get the desired outcome. I was talking to Guisi about the need for
Food Banks in UK, which should rule us out immediately, she said not
so different US. Also both US and UK probably suffer from the heavily
advertised junk food problem and I have read US has a oversize portion
issue. Having good cheap food available is not enough.
Of course if you ask where you would most *enjoy* eating, its not
Netherlands, US or UK IMHO.
I thought Japan had a healthy diet, but seems they scored badly on
prices. Maybe the Japanese can afford expensive food?
We probably need to read the actual report.
