A Chocolate Orange is one of Senior Management's favourite 'treats' but
when I mentioned the idea of a deep fried one, the idea didn't appeal at
all. Perhaps it was due to the fact we'd just had an excellent Fish and
Chip lunch in Deal with some American house guests.

Smile for the camera ;-)

Remarkable Coincidences:
The Stock Market Crashes of 1929 and 2008 happened on the same
date in October. In Oct 1907, a run on the Knickerbocker Trust
Company led to the Great Depression.

When I was small it was the standard gift to take to a birthday party.

I think I must have been about 22 before I actually got to taste one for myself.

My wife bought used to get them as gifts for our daughters' teachers.

In their teens, one of them confessed that they'd decided one of their
primary teachers didn't deserve it and they'd shared it with her two
sisters. Normally we'd have been furious but, after perhaps 10 years,
and the vision of the three chocolate covered faces, etc, reduced us to
hysterics.
