We bought a Cookworks not that long ago and it does two sizes of loaf,
1.5 and 2lbs. They must have downsized it.
It is a better machine than the Morphy Richards we previously had.

Our Morphy Richards was OK for three years until Morphy Richards's use
of dissimilar metals caused it to have a fatal attack of corrosion. We
replaced it with a Panasonic that cost three times as much as the
Morphy Richards. The non stick coating on the paddle and container is
damaged by any sort of seeds added to the flour. A replacement paddle
cost about half the price we paid for the Morphy Richards.

The seal under paddle of our Morphy Richards couldn't stand the heat and
started to leak so they sent us a replacement pan. The area under the
pan started to rust badly and they replaced the bread maker.
The second one also eventually rusted.

It's a good job that you didn't use it for jam making.

Yes, I'm very persuasive:-) Point out that items should have reasonable
life expectancy beyond their first birthday.

We do that normally.

My mother showed me how to make bread by hand when I was growing up.
Last Christmas a friend bought me a Morphy Richards bread maker. I
used it twice but then reverted to using my hands and the oven.

I'm sat in my wheelchair most of the time so kneading bread is good
exercise for me :)

Can you tread grapes as well? :-)

More productive than the Davina McCol XX exercise machine that I was
given.
