Hi Stranger

My newsreader showed that there was a posting here ..... so here I am.

Shame you wont use the Facebook page. Facebook really is quite tameable
and I get no rubbish from it whatsoever, I just read a couple of the groups.

The UK food and drink group is still alive but it has relatively few
active (that means posting) members so needs more.

Come on, give it a go! Get a hotmail or gmail address, which you can
just throw away anytime you want in the future, register using that.
Say your name is Jane Smith (I promise not to tell anyone) make up
answers to anything else.

All the best

Hi Malcolm:)) Good to see you. I wouldn't know how. As you will see from
my post to Sheila, I am on fb but only in the places granddaughter has set
up which are of family.

It would be nice to get this going again ... without the nasties of course!

But it doesn't 'come to me' like a newsgroup or a mailing list, and it
doesn't let me use a decent editor, and.......

Forgot to add that she who's name cannot be said is not a member of the
group and since it's a closed group she cannot read anything posted
there either :-)

You should read what I wrote above in conjunction with my original post.
The group referred to is is a Facebook group - food and drink UK.

Please keep up at the back of the class :-)

Occasionally.

uk.telecom is swamped with spam but sensible postings still attract a surprising level of response.

uk.legal.moderated, uk.railway, and uk.d-i-y still seem fairly active
