I simply CANNOT find an answer anywhere. All the recipes say, place a
waxed disc on top of the jam, waxed side down, but they never say
WHICH side is the waxed side!
I've got my discs. They have a shiny side and a dull side.
I'm just about to start chopping up/de-stoning the plums...
